Yes, sort of. Big Bird is a character on a TV program for entertaining and educating children. I used to watch it sometimes. He's a large yellow bird about 250cm tall. And very feathered.

All right, let's see. My favorite keepsake from home is a red rose preserved in a small glass tube. Someone gave one to me as a gift when I was thirteen, but it got broken and I lost it until a few weeks before I arrived here, when someone else gave me another.

My favorites are actually magnolias. No one ever puts them in bouquets because the blossoms are so large, but...

I spent a lot of time in a foreign country when I was young, and I remember seeing magnolia trees in bloom. When the petals fall they make a carpet of pink and white on the ground underneath, and I thought it looked like something out of a fantasy.
